We’ve posted two new photo sets to our Flickr page with photos from the week and of Finn’s various outfits. As long as he remains cute, we’ll keep posting photos. But if he starts look more like his dad, well then we might have to reconsider our photo policy.

• Swings are magic… Really cool magic. Was up at 1 a.m. with a crying fit. Tried all the obvious things. Nothing worked until the swing. #

• Good night. About 4-5 hrs of sleep. Last day at the hospital. We’ll be heading home this afternoon. #

• Getting used to being parents. Erica is feeling much better. “Baby X” (no relation to “Driver X”) has been sleeping, eating and pooing. #
• Had lunch at Midtown Global Market (Mmmmm Holy Land Deli). Waiting for lactation consultant to help the little one get his meal, too. #
• We had two good feedings, and our first urination. Yeah!!! Name has been decided. Need to tell grandparents before announcing to the world. #

• Arrived safe and sound at the hospital. On the pitocin. benerica 2.0 should be unleashed on the world tomorrow. #
• Two hours in. Things are progressing slowly–regular contractions but not strong. We’re going to rest while we still have the option. #
• Contractions have gotten stronger… Rest seems like a nice bit of wishful thinking. Suspect a long way yet to go. #
• Slept from 2 to 3. Erica not so much. Had our assessment 90% effaced 3cm dilated. Heading to bath tub. #
• Back from bath tub just got an epidermal. Pain has decereased significantly. Hoping to get some sleep before needing to PUSH!!! #
• Wow. In the last two hours, we’ve moved from 5cm dilated to 8cm dilated. Ten is the magic number. #
• Not quite pushing yet, but it’s coming soon. The epidural has been really helpful. Hopefully, the next post will be an announcement. #
• Still waiting to push. There was a brief issue with the epidural. It’s fixed. Erica is much happier. She even slept. Pushing should be soon. #
• What do you know??? It’s a boy!!! Our little one weighs 8 lbs 4 oz., and measures 20.75″. Born at 3:29 p.m. after an 1.75 hours pushing. #
